Logo Redesign

ABOUT

Established in 1985, the Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) is a farmer-owned and operated cooperative and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The organization provides a range of services and resources to small farmers in East Central Mississippi and beyond. Their team serves as an outreach and technical service provider.

THE CHALLENGE

The WCSHC team approached us with a significant milestone: their 40th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion and honor their legacy, they sought a fresh, dynamic redesign of their logo and brand identity. This update was intended not only to commemorate the anniversary but also to unify their visual presence across social media, web, and print.

THE SOLUTION

We began with an in-depth strategy session, collaborating closely with the WCSHC team to uncover the core values and mission behind their work. This alignment helped us tailor the creative direction to truly reflect the heart of the organization. Through brainstorming and iterative feedback, we developed a design concept that was both forward-looking and respectful of WCSHC's longstanding heritage.

The final deliverables included a redesigned logo that retained recognizable elements of the original but was revitalized with modern typography and a fresh color palette, encapsulating the spirit of the anniversary. We created a comprehensive brand style guide to ensure visual consistency, covering logo usage, color schemes, and typography guidelines. Additionally, we designed an array of custom stationery, from letterheads to business cards, to reinforce WCSHC’s brand identity in all communications.

We truly appreciate your collaboration and the beautiful design work. It was a pleasure working with all of you!
