ABOUT
The Sustainable Forestry & African American Land Retention (SFLR) Network is dedicated to building a sustainable support system for African American land and forest owners. Our goal is to significantly enhance the value of African-American-owned forests through sustainable forestry practices, land retention services, technical assistance, and more.
Across our eight network sites, we collaborate to bring together landowners and forestry leaders, secure funding for landowner services, train emerging conservation leaders, amplify the stories of African American landowners, and advocate for equitable land policies.
