CCBFF presents programming that celebrates and showcases films that are written, directed or produced by African American filmmakers, films which prominently feature African American actors or films that address topics and issues relating to the Black community.

THE CHALLENGE

Capital City Black Film Festival needed a branding agency to get out of the gate fast with a planned festival launch coming up. The opportunity was ripe to launch a fresh and new look for the 2021 Festival.

Dyme Agency was tasked to strategize, develop and bring to life the 2021 concept and identity to life through striking visual elements.

THE SOLUTION

The visual strategy hinged on educating the core target and driving awareness through traditional and digital channels with an eye-catching brand behind it all. We began by exploring the brands core values, mission, and positioning. We conducted thorough market research, competitive analysis, and developed a content distribution strategy.

Our 360 approach built upon three critical pillars for the brand strategy: simplicity, humanity, and a nurturing aesthetic. Our team set out to monopolize mindshare and build brand loyalty.
